I love this song because it is about praising God, searching for ways to praise Him, even when you don’t really feel like it. You know when you are worshipping God, and you are so full of your pain and your worries. But in spite of that, you lift up your hands. And it seems as though your hands weigh a ton; it seems as though you should not worship God because you cannot see Him in your situation. But by lifting up your hands and singing, you are saying, ‘God, I surrender to Your will. I cannot see You at the moment, but I trust that You are here. You have always been here. You were there when tears were in my eyes; You were there when I received the bad news. Abba, I trust You.’May I find a way to love and worship God today. He is so worthy of it.
